Why we value your privacy

We value your privacy as much as we do our own, so we’re committed to keeping your personal and business information safe. We’re uncomfortable with the information companies, governments, and other organisations keep on file, so we ask for only the bare minimum from our customers. We’ll never use your personal information for any reason other than why you gave it, and we’ll never give anyone access to it unless we’re forced to by law.

How we collect information

We ask for basic contact information if you choose to create an account with us. We need this to be able to send you the alert messages that tell you when new seats have become available. We work hard to know as much as possible about the travel world and when we have some information that we think people will benefit from or find interesting, we send an occasional newsletter style email. You can opt out of these on your profile page, or, every newsletter email we send includes the option for you to opt out.

Our website uses some cookies to help us analyse which pages people look at most on our site. This helps us to run the site efficiently and it lets us refine the site and the information that we provide.

If you email us for support, we ask you for your email address and name so that we can reply to you.

What information we hold

When you contact us for support, we collect your email address and your name if you choose to give it to us.

If you sign up for an account we collect your email, your name if you choose to give it to us, and your mobile phone number if you want us to send you text alerts about new seat availability, and your airline preference if you choose to state it.  We also store information about alerts you set up and your search history. If you submit credit card details, they are sent directly to our payment provider, Stripe, who is a world leader in online payments.

If you sign up for a newsletter, we only collect your email address.

Where we store your information

When you contact us by email or through our website, we store your your information in a secure Microsoft Azure SQL Database. Your support enquiries are held in our Helpdesk Support system which is managed by FreshWorks. We chose these options as market leaders that place a great emphasis on security.

What we use your information for

We primarily use your information if you set up an alert to be notified when new rewards seats you are interested in become available.

We occasionally use your contact information to send you details of our products and services. When we do, you have the option to unsubscribe from these communications and we won’t send them to you again. We will use your email to send you transactional messages like forgotten password requests or to send you invoices or subscription messages.

Who’s responsible for your information at our company

Paul McDonnell, our CEO, is responsible for the security of your information. You can contact him by submitting a support request via our website if you have any concerns about the information we store.

Who has access to information about you

When we store information in our own systems, only the people who need it have access. Our management team have access to everything you’ve provided, but individual employees have access to only what they need to do their job.

The steps we take to keep your information private

Where we store your information in third-party services, we restrict access only to people who need it. We store passwords in an encrypted password manager.

The computers we use are all protected by a passcode or fingerprint access. These computers ask for authentication whenever they’re started or after any inactivity. Our mobile devices are also protected by a passcode, fingerprint or facial recognition.
